The goal of the Crossroads Symposium, held in coordination with the Rising Tide performance and Crossroads First Thursdays festival on October 4th, is to explore how the arts, the humanities and the sciences synergize to inform and motivate environmental sustainability. In addition, by offering the Indiana University and Bloomington community a space to develop collaborative, interdisciplinary projects, the Symposium will provide an intellectual focus on the research question: How can the arts and humanities best synergize with the sciences to catalyze environmental sustainability?
